The Puerto Rican Festival Parade in Rochester, NY is a proud celebration of Puerto Rican culture, heritage, and community. Now in its 55th year, the parade brings thousands together in a vibrant display of music, tradition, and unity.
As part of the Puerto Rican Festival of Rochester, the parade honors the contributions of Puerto Ricans in the city and beyond, reflecting decades of strength and resilience. Beyond celebration, the organization provides year-round cultural, arts, and educational programs, including scholarships for students of Puerto Rican descent.
Led by the Puerto Rican Festival of Rochester, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the parade and its events depend on the support of sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Together, we continue to uplift voices, preserve heritage, and inspire future generations.

Join us for one of the most vibrant cultural celebrations of the year — the annual Puerto Rican Parade, taking place on Saturday, August 2nd! This beloved tradition brings together families, community groups, artists, and organizations to proudly showcase Puerto Rican heritage, history, and pride.
The Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM, winding through the heart of the city with colorful floats, lively music, traditional dance groups, and community organizations representing the island and its diaspora. Expect an atmosphere filled with joy, culture, and unity!
Parade Route
The Parade begins at East and Alexander, concluding at the Festival Grounds at Parcel 5, where the celebration continues with live performances, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
